Drilling tools manufactured in Geotec include the following types: stabilizier, cross-over sub, drill collar slip and hole opener. They are widely used in oilfield drilling.
Drilling Tools: Stabilizer
Various type of integral spiral blade stabilizers are available here, including integral straight-rib stabilizer, float valve stabilizer, drilling reamer, sleeve replaceable type stabilizer, unbalanced spiral blade stabilizer and variable-diameter stabilizer. These products all comply with API Spec.7. The wearable surface (also called as wall contact)materials available are (1) carbide insert (2) inserted diamond compound (3) low temperature brazing tungsten carbide slug (4) surface bead welding abrasive welding rod, etc.
Drilling Tools: Cross-over Sub
Cross-over sub has the function of conversing and connecting drill stem component in petroleum ,natural gas and geology drilling work. In drilling operations, it is mainly used for connecting of upper drill tools and lower drill tools.
Drilling Tools: Drill Collar Slips
There are three kinds of model of DCS drill collar slips: S,R and L.
They can accommodate drill collar from 3 inch(76.2mm) to 14 inch(355.6mm) O.D.
